Holiday Gift Guide ~ Day Eighteen - Stack 'Em Up!

Sixteen years ago when I first moved to the Leaside area of Toronto, I was very green Mommy - and I don’t mean an environmentalist. My boys were just three and three months old, and I was new to the SAHM (stay at home mom) seen. Around me the other Mom’s seemed to have it all together, (or at least that’s what I thought at the time ;)). But it wasn’t too long before I was standing around the playground comparing Kindergarten notes with new friends - appearing as though I had it all together as well. I slowly started to shed my work life and tick off the SAHM boxes; Yoga pants, cool stroller, coffee traveller in hand, Mommy Blog - true, who remembers Mommy X? But there was one thing (or several things rather) that I was missing. All the cool Mom’s were wearing a wrist full of amazing stretchy silver bracelets. I was obsessed, yet how to get into this ‘stretchy silver bracelet’ club remained elusive, until one day I attended a coffee morning at a friends home, and there they were in all their shiny beauty. I could finally be part of the club thanks to Andrea Trail and her company Eliza Perry Jewellery.
It’s hard to believe that I’ve know Andrea and her booming jewellery business for almost sixteen years. Over the years and at numerous at home parties, coffee mornings and artisan markets, I have the good fortune to round out my jewellery collection with a enviable silver bracelet stack, various fabulous earrings and necklaces. I got my first hand stamped tiny tags necklace with the names of my children and husband from Andrea. Long before Megan wore Harry and Archie, I wore Ethan, Matty and Kevin - just like all the other neighbourhood Mom’s. :)
Alrighty, love letter aside - Day Eighteen is about Andrea’s movement into the gold jewellery trend with (at long last) stretchy 14k gold fill beaded bracelets. Imagine a stack of these babies on your wrist - even just one is delicate and pretty. It’s our good fortune that Andrea has popped up not to far from home at the Upmarket - Noel Edit at Yorkville Village (55 Avenue Road) from today until Friday December 20th. It’s a good day to start a gold stack for yourself, your girlfriend or that new Mom in your life.
