Of all the fake holiday’s on the calendar, Galentine’s Day might be the one that makes the most sense. A day dedicated to showering your besties with the love they deserve for being present for life’s up and downs, laughter and tears and never-ending drama (or is that just me?) all year long.

I love today, because I have three of the amazing entrepreneurs who helped me make She Shops Swap the success it was way back in March. They also happen to be my friends…and for that I couldn’t be luckier.
It seems like years since the She Shops Swap event doesn’t it? It’s almost unbelievable to think that that fun night of friends and fashion happened a mere ten days before our lives were turned upside down by Covid 19.
Sixteen years ago when I first moved to the Leaside area of Toronto, I was very green new Mom. And I don’t mean an environmentalist. My boys were just three and three months old and I was new to the SAHM (stay at home mom) seen.
