I know it’s time to do a gift guide when I get the text “do you know where I can get….”. This year for Valentine’s Day I’ve pulled together a few sweet suggestions that I hope will make the day special for your love, your friends and family - because love should be shared by all.

always have a little bonus up my sleeve - this year it’s a Shop Indigenous mini guide. With the help of my friend Tabatha Bull, CEO of the Canadian Council of Aboriginal Business and member of the Nippising First Nation - we’ve come up with some great suggestions on how you can support Indigenous owned businesses this holiday seasons and everyday.
This is it friends, Day Six and the final day of my Holiday Gift Guide for 2020. Thanks to all the wonderful retailers and artisans who helped me make this edition possible. I truly appreciate your suggestions. And I hope you, my readers have been able to tick some boxes on your list.
I love today, because I have three of the amazing entrepreneurs who helped me make She Shops Swap the success it was way back in March. They also happen to be my friends…and for that I couldn’t be luckier.

What a weekend of staying indoors and shopping online! Well one of those is true…I shopped online, but I took advantage of the weather and got outside taking beautiful walks at the Bluffers Beach and Sunnybrook Park. Both fab locations in the city, and as you can see from you pics below…not at all crowded.
I have deep respect for anyone who complies a gift guide - including myself (kidding…not kidding). A day by day guide as I’ve done in the past is not quite as easy as it looks - and it’s super time consuming. BUT it’s also been very popular and I get great feedback from it which I’m so appreciative of.

According to the website Canadian POS “Gift cards are a popular choice of gift for every occasion….and are most heavily purchased at Christmas.” Do I think a gift card is a good choice? Yes…absolutely. In fact I was at my Mom’s nursing home this morning and one of the ladies mentioned that she really appreciated receiving a gift card for coffee over more chocolate or cookies.
You’re cutting it tight if you haven’t started your shopping yet, but I trust that most of my readers are already sitting back and relaxing with a good book, podcast and glass of wine. But just in case you’re looking of a fab bottle to take to the family dinner on Christmas day, might I suggest my current favourite;
