My best friend has a close friend (always mention your connection to someone fabulous) who owns Gaspard, a luxe women’s boutique on Queen St. West in Toronto. I love following their Instagram because the shop is curated with the work of beautiful designers from across the world to right here in Toronto including their own line Mercy. I’ve only visited the shop once and am due to go again. But there are so many swoon worthy things that’s it’s a risky proposition for my wallet. The clothing and accessories they carry are gallery worthy and true delight for fashion and design lovers. What caught my eye recently are these gorgeous merino and pure new wool blankets from Abraham Moon, a British designer and maker of luxury fabrics. Gaspard is carrying a selection of their beautiful blankets ($240.00) that are sure to become an heirloom to whomever is lucky enough to receive one. These blankets were made to use and to last if you’re a fan of British country luxury.

Taurus Pendant from Mejuri
While I prefer to have my zodiac sign inked on my body (tiny and discreet), some prefer to wear their’s around their necks. Either or any way - the signs and symbols of the zodiac are hot right now. I’m loving this 14K gold and diamond zodiac necklace from Mejuri ($455.00). In case you’re not familiar with Mejuri, it’s a direct to consumer jewellery company. They have showrooms in Toronto, New York (the only one I’ve been to) and Los Angeles, but they’re strictly for viewing the jewellery - they don’t carry stock. I’ve bought several pieces (shhhh…don’t tell my husband) from them over the past couple of years, and have never been disappointed. The designs and quality are extraordinary. And if you have reason to return your purchase, returns are easy peasy. Although I can’t for any reason understand why you would ever send anything back.
