Monday Motivation

It's Monday morning and I'm back in The 6ix after an AMAZING four days in Washington, DC. If you haven't visited this awesome city yet - put it on your bucket list. Later this week I'll post my Washington essentials for you. 

I just wanted to post a huge shoutout to the Fairmont Washington DC and Porter Air. I realized I had forgot the passports at the hotel (in the safe) when we arrived at Dulles Airport.  We didn't  have enough time for the hotel to send the passports out to us (which they would have done), so we ventured back to Georgetown to pick them up. The Fairmont staff were so gracious and accommodating upon our return...it made a stressful situation just a lot easier. Thank you Charles and the Fairmont Washington DC for your awesome hospitality. 

I would much rather wait for the next flight from this pretty lobby than from the airport. 

Also making my giant mess up a little easier were the awesome staff at Porter Airlines. We were able to easily change to the next available flight  and they were also able to  ensure a 'nut free' cabin for my son, even with a change.  Great customer service at the desk and gate in Dulles and of course the in-flight staff was amazing. 

So now I'm back home and ready to start another fabulous week of summer in the city.  I'm going let the kindness of all of those I met in DC motivate me in all I do.
