I always find my husband so difficult to buy for and he’ll kill me for saying this, but he returns most of what I buy (insert eye roll).

Best in Snow's...Boot's not Tires

I usually get very excited when shopping for something new that I actually need. But snow boots, meh…they kinda suck to shop for given that it usually means winter is on the way. I need my snows to be actual workhorse boots - especially suited for walking the dog in all types of weather and to keep my toes warm in the hockey rinks that can become super frosty in the winter months.

Megan Markle wears a denim dress and the world goes crazy. I would hazard a guess that J. Crew is very happy right now, seeing as they’ve fallen into some difficult times after the exit of long time creative director (and my personal muse) Jenna Lyons.

The maxi dress is having a moment, and that moment couldn’t have come at a better time! I’ve alway been a mini dress kinda girl, and then something called gravity hit my kness and oh fuck - I suddenly I became a maxi dress kinda woman (short of knee lift of course -is there such a thing?).

Bigger is Better at La Muse

Bayview Avenue between Millwood Road and Eglinton Avenue in Toronto is home to some great restaurants and retail. It’s been so good for Sarah Barr, owner of Boutique LaMuse (1610 Bayview Ave) that she’s recently taken over a larger space (a few stores up) that was once occupied by Horticultural Design (for 27 years) to expand her successful women’s boutique.
