Bigger is Better at La Muse
Bayview Avenue between Millwood Road and Eglinton Avenue in Toronto is home to some great restaurants and retail. It’s been so good for Sarah Barr, owner of Boutique LaMuse (1610 Bayview Ave) that she’s recently taken over a larger space (a few stores up) that was once occupied by Horticultural Design (for 27 years) to expand her successful women’s boutique. Sarah has also teamed with Cathy from Apricot Flowers (first location at 621A Mount Pleasant Rd) to open a satellite Apricot inside La Muse. This is great news for anyone missing Horticultural Design. Cathy and her team do amazing work and I’ve been a big fan of her’s since her early days on MP.
The new La Muse has expanded their selection of designers and currently offers over sixty different lines. Sarah is a self professed ‘quality freak’ and chooses only the best for her clients, but she also want to ensure that if you come in to shop…you leave with something you love. While local Canadian brands are available, brands from the US, France and the UK are popular choices. Here’s a small sampling of some of the amazing lines carried at La Muse.
