31 Day Blog Challenge - Day Nineteen

Day Nineteen - What are your bad habits?

I'm having a hard time thinking of what my bad habits might be.  I don't smoke or drink very much. Don't do drugs - not that I'd admit that here if I did. I'm not the type of person that will go to the cupboard and grab a whole box of Oreo's...and eat them all. So I had to bypass the obvious habits and dig down to the second layer. Two things that I should really look at changing.

  • Checking my phone too often I'm with family or in social situations.
  • Spending too much $$$ shopping, or possibly just going shopping in general too often. 

I've heard that supposedly it takes twenty one days to break a bad habit. Conversely it takes the same number of days to start a new one. I don't think I'll try to kick the shopping habit. Without it we might not have a Glimmer at all. I guess I could just not actually buy anything while I'm out unless I absolutely need it. That might be hard. But then I suppose that's the point of breaking a habit right? It's not supposed to be easy. Now that phone...that's a habit I can try to kick. So starting today, if I'm with family or in a social situation (with friends) - my phone stays away. I'll check back in with you in 21 days and tell you how it's going.
