Cute Shop Alert
If you find yourself strolling the Mount Pleasant strip of shops in Toronto, take a peek down Manor road and you will find the most adorable florist. Apricot Flowers has been in business just over a year in this "just off the strip" location. I've purchased a couple of arrangements from Cathy the sweet, hospitable owner and they've both been fabulous. Both times I've just wandered in and she had something fab ready and waiting in the fridge, but obviously pre-ordering for pick-up or delivery is optimal.
Apricot also offeres a lovely selection or orchids, succulents (my fave) and indoor plants as well. It's a great spot if you're looking for a birthday gift or little pick me up for a friend. Cathy also designs flowers for wedding and special event,s as well as running workshops for kids and adults.
