Denim Skirt Roundup!
A very smart stylist once said "if you've worn it once in another decade, don't wear it again." As you know by now I love denim. And yes, I wore denim (super) mini skirts obsessively in the late 80's. I'd love to get one again. After all they're as versatile as a pair of jeans and can be worn all four seasons. But following the brilliant stylist's rule - I won't do an encore of the super mini. Instead I would opt for a style that is a little longer and better suited to my age. I don't want to look like a 46 year old trying to be 26...that's a serious no no. Here are my faves:
It's always a good thing to be able to walk with ease when wearing a pencil skirt. I love the slitted front to display a little extra leg. This is crisp look when styled with a white shirt and thin leopard belt. Find one like it here.
White denim totally counts as denim for me. I live in my white denim all summer, so this skirt would be a great alternative. I adore the buttons up the front. Unbutton as many as you need to move. ;) Find it here.
So if you're not a big fan of slitting in the front, try up the back with this super cute knee length skirt. I love that denim skirts can be dressed up or down. They work just a well with nice pair of espadrilles as they do with a pair of Havanans. Find this one here.
