Aesop...Aussie for Great Skin Care
Aesop is an Australian line of skin care products that recently opened it's third Toronto outpost on Yonge St. in Rosedale. The brand is immediately recognizable by it's clean aesthetic featuring dark brown apothecary bottles. You'll find everything you need for your high end skin care regimen here for you and apparently for your pooch. That totally fascinated me. Just don't get your pooches shampoo mixed up with yours. The staff at Aesop were warm and friendly and very knowledgeable in the product. This is great because when you're spending between $40 and $100 dollars - you really want to know what you're getting. The fragrance in the store is not for the faint of heart and crosses somewhere between woodsy and medicinal...I can't decide which. But it's very pleasing. All products are made with plant and laboratory based ingredients. So I can't say it's "all natural." What I found most fascinating about Aesop is that every store (while carrying the same product) has a completely individual design aesthetic. No two stores look alike.
