Holiday Gift Guide 2020 - Day Three

What a weekend of staying indoors and shopping online! Well one of those is true…I shopped online, but I took advantage of the weather and got outside taking beautiful walks at the Bluffers Beach and Sunnybrook Park. Both fab locations in the city, and as you can see from you pics below…not at all crowded.

Holiday Gift Guide 2020 ~ Day One

I have deep respect for anyone who complies a gift guide - including myself (kidding…not kidding). A day by day guide as I’ve done in the past is not quite as easy as it looks - and it’s super time consuming. BUT it’s also been very popular and I get great feedback from it which I’m so appreciative of.

Sustainable or Animal Free?

So you don’t want to buy a winter coat that contains down and a coyote fur collar. Canada Goose is one type amongst many. So you pick up a ‘puffer coat’ from Store X because you think it’s a more ‘sustainable option’. Hold the phone for me one moment will you?

It seems like years since the She Shops Swap event doesn’t it? It’s almost unbelievable to think that that fun night of friends and fashion happened a mere ten days before our lives were turned upside down by Covid 19.

SHE SHOPS SWAP - The Event

“75ish people went out on a rainy Tuesday night in March…you’ve got something there.” NH

The only thing missing from that sweet endorsement is this: and then some of them found a corner or slipped behind a table and stripped right down to their skivvies and tried on clothes in a brewery.

SHE SHOPS SWAP - Clean Swap Recycle Drop

Coming to She Shops Swap on March 3rd is the Clean Swap Recycle Drop.

Bring in all your personal care products that you’re no longer using, drop them in the Clean Swap recycle bin and my friend Kerri Torrey from Beautycounter and I will ensure that they are recycled correctly and kept out of landfill.
