I haven’t posted here since March 6th, three days after and barely recovered from my She Shops Swap event. A mere week later, we went into full shut down mode - it was March 13, the day before I was supposed to leave for my March Break trip to Barbados.

I’m so sorry you had a bad experience with hockey in your youth. I did too. Yep - the popular hockey players didn’t want to date me. I didn’t get to wear their melton and leather jacket around the halls of the high school. I didn’t get to wait for them at the dressing room door for the victory kiss…like other girls did.
Colonoscopy. I’m afraid that sometimes I have to tackle the shitty subjects too. Ok, no more shitty jokes (insert eye roll here) let’s get to the ‘bottom’ of this subject. :)
Did anyone ever make you a mixed tape? Just image the hours of work that went into putting all those song on to a cassette. Recording them from an album or even the radio. I was given a mixed tape once, it even had a homemade cover.
Sleep. We all need it. But what happens when your body begins changing and you’re longer drifting off into a night of blissful slumber like you once did? Or you are able to drift off successfully, but wake often during the night, once…twice…three times, until you lie on your pillow in frustration wondering what the actual fuck is happening here?
Some of you might find this statement rather shocking coming from me, but alas sometimes words don’t come to me. Call it ‘writers block’ if that’s a term that’s more familiar and it definitely sums up the feeling…but I prefer to simply say ‘the words just aren’t coming”.
This is the first year in a very long time that I'm not skipping around the house pretending I'm the person in the Staples "It's the most Wonderful time of the Year" commercial. (BTW, whoever created that commercial is a genius). In fact this year I'm feeling downright low.
