Steep vs. Cheap

I feel like the window for black open toe booties is short....let's call it September til it get's chilly in October.  I'm not a fan of black shoes in the summer, unless of course it's a strappy sandal. So if you're in the market for for these booties, I suggest you grab them now and start wearing them. I love the elastic cross strap on the back of this Zofee Peep Toe Bootie from Nine west. I also happen to be partial to the natural block heel. Love the contrast between the black leather and the heel.

Because the open toe bootie season is so short, you may decide that spending a hundred and fifty bucks is just a little rich. In that case this Open Toe Bootie from Joe Fresh would be a nice alternative.  This style also comes in dark brown with a natural heel.
