Star using neck cream today!

Signed,

Your Future (Older) Self

I just finished reading Elan Mastai's book on time travel All Our Wrong Todays, and trust me, if I could travel back in time to my twenties (because let's face it, who want's to go back to high school) the first thing I would do is start using neck cream!  The skin on the neck and décolletage is much thinner than skin on other areas of your body, as such it's more susceptible to sun damage and much harder to repair.  It's not uncommon to see women with brown spots and freckles on their chest area caused by sun damage.  The neck and chest area are quick to show signs of aging, in fact much quicker than the face. So while your face can have less wrinkles due to great skin care (or fillers), your neck and chest will snitch on you.

Neck creams are different from moisturizers you apply to your face. So even if you use your regular moisturizer on your neck, you're not doing enough.  The neck and chest area need collagen to produce quickly to look younger. We all know that loss of collagen is the enemy in our forties. Dedicated neck creams contain peptides that assist in quicker collagen production. During my morning routine, I apply my neck cream and then follow it up with my SPF. Yes...SPF on neck and chest - everyday (well during the summer months).  It then has time to dry before putting on my clothes.

My choice for neck cream is Juice Beauty's Stem Cellular Lifting Neck Cream. Juice Beatuy is available at Murale and Holt Renfrew in Toronto.
