Have you had a chance to check out Province of Canada’s new shop in Leslieville yet? If not, this is one of the cute ‘made in canada’ items you can find in the shop. I just realized that I’ve never written a word on this site about my trip to London last August. If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen pics from trip - but I’ve never really summarized it for you. Well here’s my summary: Fortum & Mason.
For a girl who spends most of her time in bare feet (winter included) I’m unnaturally obsessed with with the beautiful Alpaca work socks I recently bought at Moore House Fine Alpacas in Fewick Ontario. Work socks are super trendy now and I personally like wearing them when I need to keep my feet toasty warm - like at the arena, or walking the dog.
Sometimes I think this gift guide is actually just the top twenty four things I really want for Christmas. :)
Now that you’ve had a wonderful night’s sleep on your slik pillowcase (day three) it’s time for a gradual and graceful morning wakeup. This is assuming of course that you don’t have any babies in the house. In that case you need to come back to this gift in fifteen years or so.

Wow…yesterday was a very big Day One. I had tons of feed back on how awesome the Tree to Table experience is. I hope it’s not all down hill from here. While I was passionate about yesterday’s experience gift, I’m equally excited about today’s.

I was invited to a holiday cocktail party recently, and the smart hostess (who happens to be my neighbour) asked the attending ladies to bring along a Shoebox for the Shoebox Project. This seasonal self-esteem enhancer provides holiday gifts for women affected by homelessness currently living in shelters.
One of my favourite shopping ‘events’ of the year is just days away. The winter edition of the One of a Kind Show runs from November 22nd to December 2nd at the Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place in Toronto. This show and sale is my idea of the perfect day of shopping some of the very best in handmade goods that Canadian Artisans have to offer.
It was a relatively easy decision this year for me NOT do to a 25 Day Gift Guide like I did last year. I found it extremely labour intensive (reminder - I'm not getting paid here) and my December was looking like it would be much busier than last, which is absolutely is.
