Holiday Gift Guide - Day Six

This is it - Day Six and my final day of the Gift Guide for 2020. I want to send out my sincere thanks to all of the retailer and artisans who answered my call for suggestions for recommendations. I wish you all great success this holiday season. And to you…my faithful following - I hope I’ve once again helped out tick some boxes off from your list!

VICKI RECOMMENDS:

If you’re looking for cozy pj’s for someone on your list, take a stroll up Yonge Street to Beestung Lingerie. This pretty uptown boutique carries a luxe collections of sleepwear from names like Eberjey, PJ Salvage and The Cat’s Pajama’s (cute name) for both gals and guys. They also happen to have the best selection of Hanky Panky (if you know - you know) in every style and colour. Beestung’s online boutique is stocked and express delivery as well as curb side pickup are available.

BEESTUNG RECOMMENDS:

If you’re looking to treat yourself or your daughter to something this holiday, then Beestung’s suggestions are for you. Located on Yonge (north of Eglington), Carbon offers a hip selection of ladies clothing and accessories. From their online offerings I really like the Around The Clock Tracksuit from Free People. Because is anyone even getting out of their cozy pants these days?

Canopy Blue is one of those stores I have to be very careful in - or I’ll come out with something fabulous every time. With brands like Blank NYC, AG Denim, Equipment and Ramy Brook, it’s not hard to see why. They’re online loungewear selection is looking particularly cozy right now and I spied some Smythe and Veronica Beard currently in the sale section. Run girls…don’t walk!

VICKI RECOMMENDS:

Here’s the thing about buying someone on your list sunglasses this year: Eyestudio is OPEN. Yes…you can go in! Such a novel thing this year for those of us locked down in Toronto. Eyestudio is always at the top of my list when I need new sunnies or glasses. I’ve regularly written about how fab they are and what amazing styles and brands they carry. Picks from Eyestudio were featured on Day Thirteen in the Gift Guide last year, and I highly recommend to you pay a visit to either of their locations this year. Yes…that’s right, Eyestudio now has a location in Leslieville - growth is good!

EYESTUDIO RECOMMENDS:

Speaking of growth…big congratulations go out to Sue Henderson from Suetables for opening up her fourth location, this time in the beautiful South Granville area of Vancouver. You lucky left coasters can now shop in store for all of the lovely jewellery and accessories Suetables carries. Of course they are open in Toronto (two locations) for curb side pick up and delivery and for in store shopping and curb side pick up in Montreal Since Megan Markle appeared wearing a zodiac charm necklace from Suetables, they’ve been featured in press all over the globe. Congrats once again Sue!

It’s funny because I don’t normally feature things for kids on my blog…but it’s been nice to have a couple of recommendations for kids/babies this year. Little White Sneakers is a very popular upscale consignment boutique for kids up to size 7. My kids grew up in clothes from consignment shops (I’ve loved them forever), and I wish Little White Sneakers was around (twenty - yes my oldest turns TWENTY this week) when my boys were wee lads. Check out their online boutique for a great selection from names like Burberry, Jacadi, Ivivva.

I hope you’ll keep your eye on my Instagram stories over the next week or so where I’ll continue to post further gift suggestion from some more of my favourite retailers, artisans and restaurants (it’s the perfect year for gift cards) as well as some businesses I’ve asked my friends to recommend. You can find me @vicki_hall_ if you’re not following yet!
