Dear Glimmer...

Dear Glimmer,

How's your summer going?

Miss you...

Signed,

Fan Girl

Dear Fan Girl,

I was just sitting with my morning coffee thinking about how much I missing writing Glimmer Life, so thank you for asking!

Summer has been great so far. Since I wrote my last post back on June 19th,  my son launched from grade 8 and he's all ready to move on to high school. I held a fun, impromptu poll on Instagram to help me decide which dress to wear. If you haven't seen it, you can scroll through @glimmerlife and find it or just search #dresstinder - mine is the only post! :)  I took a road trip to the beautiful city of Chicago - I'm working on a mini city guide that will be included in the new Glimmer in the Fall. The highlight of the trip for me was visiting Oak Park and the original Frank Lloyd Wright house. Not to be missed if you're a FLW architecture lover like me. Last week I went to see my Queen - Idina Menzel in concert here in Toronto. It was an great night with one of my very best friends. I've also been busy having meetings with web designers and marketers working on the new Glimmer site and brand as a whole. That's been a education for me. The great part is there's so much I can do with Glimmer....the bad part - it might take longer (and cost more) than I had hoped. That's ok...good things are worth waiting for, right?

Now I'm just relaxing a bit and getting my boys ready for camp and myself for another road trip to New England. I've never been to the eastern US, so I'm excited about that. If you have any tips or suggestions, email me. Chicago wouldn't have been as great if I didn't have some inside intel before I went.

Enjoy the rest of your summer!

P.S.

I've already finished three books that I highly recommend, if you still need titles to add to your summer reading list:

Moving on to The Finishing School which a very kind stranger dropped off in my mailbox! :)
